Mummy Lunch For Kids

Spread the love

A few years ago, we went through the Ancient Egypt unit study from Gather ‘Round Homeschool. We had so much fun with snack and lunch themes during our mummy unit study! One of my favorite ways to bring a study alive for my kids is through fun avenues like this. Adding in a cute and engaging snack makes the study memorable for the kiddos. If you are studying Ancient Egypt and want to add in just a little more fun, try this mummy lunch! For a fun mummy lunch for kids, I used crescent rolls and sausages for an easy and tasty lunch!

Making this mummy lunch is quite simple and very similar to my cheesy dogs in a blanket. You can choose to use hotdogs instead of small sausages if you would like. To make this mummy lunch for kids, you need the following:

Ingredients Need to Make a Mummy Lunch

The ingredients needed to make this mummy lunch are very little. What makes them stand out and pop are the little eye decorations!

  • Small sausages
  • Eye decorations found in the baking aisle

Engaging Videos About Ancient Egypt

One of my favorite ways to homeschool my kids is to piece together fun unit studies. You can do this without it breaking the bank! In order to create a unit study that is free or nearly free, you can use your library for resources, look on YouTube for free videos, and also TPT for free worksheets. There are so many resources out there today! If you are learning all about Ancient Egypt, here are some of our favorite videos that we have used as a family.
