I got this recipe off the back of Southern Biscuit Formula L bag mix. So, it isn’t a true homemade recipe. But listen, for a novice who always buys her biscuits premade and cut, they turned out great. Here are the ingredients you need to make this cheesy drop biscuit recipe
- 3 1/4 cups of Southern Biscuit Complete Biscuit Mix
- 1/4 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups of buttermilk
How to Make Cheesy Drop Biscuits
Step 1
Pre-heat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit
Step 2
Add the 3 1/4 cups of biscuit mix to a large bowl.
Step 3
Add the 1 1/2 cups of buttermilk
Step 4
Then add the 1/4 cup of grated sharp cheddar cheese. Mix the ingredients until the mix is completely wet. Do not overmix.
Step 5
Place a heaping teaspoon of mix onto a greased baking sheet. We had to use two baking sheets for the amount of biscuits we had.
Step 6
Place in the preheated oven and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Enjoy these tasty cheesy biscuits! Serve with this tasty beef and vegetable soup.
